Ours is not just a paediatric hospital but also a complete child care centre. Therefore apart from providing a curative dimension of health, we also focus on preventive and rehabilitative dimensions.
Our Community health department goes into remote villages of Kanyakumari, Tuticorin and Tirunelveli districs to promote awareness on children and women health
We conduct health camps in various schools to provide health education and identify children with health defects, deficiencies and deformities. We also direct them for proper treatment to appropriate medical centers.

Village dispensaries tie up program
The GGAMCCC has taken a unique initiative working together with exiting village dispensaries to improve healthcare access to children and women of rural areas. This new venture encourages working together with likeminded stakeholders at the villages having strategic partnership with our Institution.
The program aims to improve access to health care and Provides timely medical intervention for women and children of rural villages instead of long travel. Mothers and the children are given Health education on basic health care and balanced diet to empower them for a healthy family life.
This program also promotes preventive aspects of health care, by screening for common or serious health issues and educating, motivating for periodical checkups. The medical team provides capacity building training to the Local healthcare workers in dispensaries are enabled to deliver quality health care service.
The following are three dispensaries which has strategic partnership with our institutions at present the dispensaries are, Deva Clinic at Devasahayam Mount. Sahaya Annai Marunthagam at Sahayapuram and UDICA Health centre at Kandanvilai, the Village Dispensary team visits the clinic twice a week.
